In October 2023, I was showcasing my new collection called 'Meadow in Flower' in #TheFashiNXT in Portland. The collection was inspired by the Austrian painter and Art Nouveau artist Gustav Klimt, specifically by his two landscape paintings: 'Meadow in Flower' (1906) and 'Farm Garden with Sunflowers' (1913). At the center of my collection were simple yet beautiful meadow flowers such as sunflowers, poppies, and daisies.

Through my collection, I aimed to share the beauty of nature, weaving together art and fashion, all infused with the spirit of Gustav Klimt.
As an artist, I am deeply inspired by the beauty of countryside landscapes wherever I go. This inspiration has led me to create a remarkable laced coat that embodies the serene charm of the countryside. Imagine fields adorned with vibrant flowers, horses grazing peacefully under the blue sky, fish playfully splashing in calming waters, and birds joyfully soaring and nesting in trees. Cozy and charming houses dot the laced hills, while trees stretch their branches to provide comforting shades. The fields are meticulously plowed and prepared for planting, and a magnificent red tulip symbolizes love and unity.
This coat holds a profound message of hope and peace, particularly in relation to the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine. It represents the longing for an end to war and the return of a peaceful life. To bring this vision to life, I incorporated antique Cluny Lace, sourced from a second-hand shop, and dyed it in a beautiful beige shade to reflect the colors of the Earth. Each fabric and fiber used adds texture and a three-dimensional touch, carefully chosen to create the perfect composition. Vintage laces, fabrics, and threads of different textures were employed, and techniques such as piece picking, intricate cutting, stitching, and applique from vintage fabrics and felted pieces were employed.
The coat's overall color palette is predominantly beige, representing the Earth, while the flowers, birds, rivers, fish, and horses are depicted in vibrant and modestly seasoned colors. This creates a harmonious and captivating juxtaposition between the neutral tones and the lively elements of the countryside.
